Dear Mom:
When I think of all you've done
To make life better for your son
I wonder what I did to deserve this
This life of happiness
You've always been there for me
From where I am right now
Back to when I was a baby
And you've always shown me how
You helped me learn to talk
You showed me how to walk
You told me not to sin
And to be a gentleman
After all our fights
If they're big or if they're small
Things always end up right
Because you love me through it all
You always do what you think is best
You forget yourself and think about the rest
I know you're always there
And I know you always care
Just know, I appreciate your love
You're like an angel from above
I just wrote this poem to say
