Happy Mother’s Day
You are no longer with us, but you weathered the storm
You now are with the One, who made the Earth form
As I listen to the quiet night of the crickets they sing
I can see the Angels around you, holding you in their wings
As each day goes by, I can remember my past
It is times like this that I wish that it could have last
Just one more day to share just how much you mean to me
But that would be selfish, because now you are “Free”
You are in my heart each and everyday
It just does not seem right without you here to say
I am so grateful to have been your daughter, though mere word cannot express
How this Mother's Day, I feel so blessed

I think it's beautifully written and I'm holding back tears because I can feel your pain!. Of celebrating your first mother's day with out your mom!.
I know some day I will feel the same way about my mom!. Though I know she will be with God!. That still will not help the emptiness in my heart!. Because my mom is the most wonderful mom God could or has blessed me with!. Except for my mother in law of course!. She passed on my birthday ten years ago!. So holidays are the time to let your heart remember the good times!.
