The under felt truth…
I have always known I wouldn’t be
enough for you,
No one would
tame you!.!.
And I never really
wanted to!.
Words never knew
just how we worked…
Worlds never felt the passion
beyond strength
beyond bounds
boundaries
chains

The palpitation of the words trails off into wonder, will it beat on!?!.!.!. The unsteadiness tells me that this is a nervous heart!.!.!. or a scared one!.!.!. is there fear!? Is there fear!? Is there fear!? It leaves me with question, hanging from a precipice, though, this is what was needed for me as the reader!.!.!.

This is, as usual, exceptional!. Every word serving a purpose and each placed just so!. I see the poem as the output from a cardiac machine (or whatever they're called) - you know where this pen writes squiggles on a paper-strip and it goes squiggle, squiggle SQUIGGLE squiggle squiggle SQUIGGLE
and then pen finally produces no squiggle - not very articulate this morning, am I - it's only 7 am and I haven't finished my coffee yet!.
