Life
I will not speak death
Over any situation!.
Or hunger for sorrow or mourning!.
I won't lead you to stagnant waters,
Or swim in misery and disdain!.
Why should I paint moods that don't uplift!?
If I dip my brush in tears!? Will my canvas not cry!?
I won't sing a song of sadness!.
My melodies are full of love,
And God's Will in my life!.
Choosing instead to speak forgiveness,
Compassion,
Hidden in songs of tolerance and understanding!.
My bouquet is joy,
The bouquet of joy is fertilized by hearts,
Purified by the Dove,
Paid for by the Lamb,
