Question: When is firefly season!?

They held onto the firefly
not letting it go,
the fly’s fire
lit, a scratching
tremble in a small shine grip
are they
getting along all right!?
Mashing it up to
get that skin glow
and showing
them each, one by one as
they wait indifferently under
cottonwood shadow
“I’m your mother!. I was waiting for this!.”
“I see you need your father’s
advice…”
and sister staring, feigning
the physics of a slap
to the face!.
They all see it differently
and the effect is
automatic
as he stands
adorned in streaks of orange!.
He’s not sure what he
sees!. Guts, glow,
the end of light
but they are all getting along
just fine

I didn't see my first firefly until about two years ago!. I knew then what I had been missing in all those stories I had read!. Miniscule glowing faeries in the woods!. I didn't know they had a season though, kind of sad!. How much does a license cost!?Www@QuestionHome@Com
