This poem is about a guy who works in a normal office who ttalks to a woman caled Minerva whom he loves but she will never love him back as the poet says he sings a 'ballad' (sad, lamenting song)!.
Minerva must work in the same place as the man does as the poet says 'from a cubicle in Accounting' as opposed to 'from a cubicle in work!.'
The poet compares the injustice of her not loving him in the last two lines, saying the injustice are like the onesthey have to deal with in Customer Services!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
