Question: What do u think of this poem!.!?
I have know you for only 2 months but it's felts like years!. When i see you in the halls all i do is stare my eyes turns black and blue and then everything disappears!. I need to know if you're my true friend, will you be by my side until the end!?You're never alone, I'm always here,through the good times and the bad!.I'm always here to be your friend,I don't like to see you sad!. Your eyes are like starry pearls that light up during the day and when i see them i don't know what to say!.You're never alone, I'm always near,When your troubled, down or blue i am always here!. I will always be there for you until we go are own ways ,but nothing can stop me from staying away!. Our friendship has grown over these 2 months then any friends, i think this is special and i hope our friendship will never end!. You have told me so much that i don't know what to say!.I just want to thank you for all you've done,You've helped me through a lot, you're really number one!.Thanks for all the good times thatWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think that your desire to write a poem for a friend is admirable!. Since you're a beginning poet, let me advise you this way: when you're just starting out, avoid trying to rhyme!.!.!.rhyming so it sounds natural takes practice!.!.!.better to keep it simple, write in lines of 4 or 5 beats long, and keep it to about 12 to 16 lines!. Speak naturally, try to create images instead of "telling" us!. You do create "some" images in your poem, such as "your eyes are like starry pearls"!.!.!.that's a "simile"!. However, you need to avoid sounding like a diary entry!.!.!.you don't need to be specific on timelines!.!.!.you don't need to say "these 2 months"!.!.!.it's sufficient to say, "in such a short time"!. Andinstead of saying "I'll always be there for you", you can simply say, "When you need me, I'll be there"!. Otherwise, you're writing a love letter!.!.!.which is really what you have here, a letter of affection to a "friend"!.!.!.not really a poem!.
Still, as I said before, your desire to write a poem is a great start!. If you really want to write a poem, get a book of poetry and start reading!. Don't just read rhymed poetry, see how unrhymed poetry can be just as poetic!.
