Hone swords and daggers of verse
Polish shields of rhyme
Boil pots of iambic oil
To pour
On the mass advance of trolls
And other ugliness,
Evils from the depths of Y!A Hell

Stand tall in armour of fine verse
Glinting brilliantly in the sun
Like a star
A beacon
A message from another world:
Is there intelligent life there

Obviously, the phrase of the day is "iambic oil!." I whipped some up with a touch of anapestic vinegar, added a dash of alliterative pepper, and a shake of dactylic salt!. It tasted great on the trochaic salad!. [Did I just put my feet in my mouth!?]Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just come in from visit to my home town Gloucester (in a much improved frame of mind)!.!.!.!.I find this gem awaiting me!.
This is so good, the subject, of course, being very much on all our minds is spot on (as others say iambic oil is brilliant - but the whole verse is up there with your best)
