Okay, I tried writing a non-rhyming poem but I'm not very good at them!.
Chess
A lot of people are pawns
Disposable
Used only to win the game
They protect the others
But the others don't care about them
The knights protect royalty
And even stand up for the pawns
Of these there are very few
They are cool pieces
who are hard to take down
Then there are the bishops
there are few of these too
They are smart and witty
They can set you up
And you'll never know it happened
We can't forget the rooks
Who always protect the king
So faithful they are
Always true friends
The king cannot be overlooked
He is the whole point of the game
But he isn't very nice
He sacrifices his protectors
Even his wife, the queen
She is very important
the quickest on her feet
She moves anywhere
And spreads her love
She protects her King
Just like the pawns
But she will never be cast aside
