Question: Anyone write me a long poem!?!?
So!.!.!.i need to think of a person poem (free verse)!. and i have to write a poem about my name!.
my name is Esther
i like my name because,,,,
1-It represents bravery
2-Miracle
3-Named after queen esther from the bible
4-esther means star in the bible
5-my name is unusual
so!.!.!.i have to list at least 2 images for each sense (sight sound smell taste touch) that could aply to my name!.
to do this!.!.!.you will have to think "out of the box"!. use as one poet calls them "impossibilities" Think metaphorically!.
not literally!.

This is a very subtle acrostic that one would have to be really studying to see!. The capital lines spell out Esther!. It is completely free form!. Remove the stanza breaks, if you choose!.
Eventually scratchy sand will overcome
the mirage of palm trees and blue water,
but now, I will drink in the cool sensations
that your love has brought to me!.
Selfishly, I will send you away;
oh pain stabs my heart; you must go;
my days are waning and the nights
grow colder!. I do not want you here
when I leave you!. I cannot bear your tears!.
There, in the sky, do you see that brightest
star that draws my gaze!. It twinkles, and Luna is full; I
almost expect to see a cow
jumping over the brightest moon
in centuries!.
Hope lingers in my heart; is that the light that
will come for me!? You must be gone, my love,
for you are strong and virile, while weakness
drains my strength, and I cannot walk or stand!.
Even my royal commands cannot change
what is to be!. Why won't you leave!? I taste salt
in the air; I feel the mist of the lagoon evaporating
but freshning my burning skin!.
Rise, my love, do you see the star
becoming brighter;
it is coming nearer!. Leave me now;
instead, you
lift me tenderly, and as the starlight
crosses our oneness, we drift --
souls united -- into the new world
of shimmering whiteness!.

You can call me miracle
Names have a meaning
And mine is special because
My name means star in the Bible
Esther is also in the Bible
It represents bravery
She rescued her people from destruction
Esther shines like a morning star
Sounding forth her triumph in Christ
Touching hearts wherever she goes
Her prayers are like sweet aroma to the Lord
Even her tears are precious to Him
Rest, my soul, in the Lord, for I am blessed

Penguins are all fun tonight
Esther is one of them
they are all parading themselves
dressed in their black & white
dinnersuits
hob nobbing
walking in pairs
staring at each other
with airs and cares
care to join me me
for a dip
where we will all go
for a splash
and feast on Marlin fish
in the Arctic sea
then play with those
cheeky seals

Esther had green eyes that touched my soul,
and I was proud she was our Queen!.
The Queen spied me and adventure was always alluring!.
