roses are red
until you find your boyfriend in the wrong bed
violets are blue
when you find out the truth
off to the clinic cause your burning
found out this love wasnt churning
off he goes into the sunset \

Kinda funny and cute I think, hey the gift that keeps on giving,!.!.!.syphilis! lol!. I hate to say it but I know women who fall into each of those things you wrote about!. Hey just don't forget men are also used and abused by women in relationships!. I have been!. Never needed to go to the clinic over a woman thank goodness!. Well no that's wrong there was 1 woman who had Hepatitis C and didn't tell me!. I found out 2 weeks after we had a little fun!. I got checked out and am clean thank goodness!. Hey that can be my new pick up line, "Hey baby, I'm clean, here is the letter to prove it!." lol =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

My Ode to your poem!. (thumbs up)

Roses are red, blood red
when you find your boyfriend in "her" bed
violets are blue, dead blue
when you find out what he left for you!.
Off to the clinic, body aching-
Painted on smile, keep on faking
burning in shame, burning like flame
Nothing ever the same - love was a game!.

first 4 lines are pretty good!.
the burning bit doesn't fit, it stops the flow a bit
see if you can get a better word than burning, and obviously churning will change then too
leaving you in debt needs a few more syllables!.!.!. make it the length of the sunset line
and maybe try to make one more reference to the original poem (roses are red etc) towards the end
