Question: A February Acrostic!?
February

Faced with news from Puxutawney which,
Eventually the groundhog will share!.
Bringing either an end to winter or early spring!.
Reevaluating my sanity nonetheless!.
Utter euphoria or despair, who knows but he!?
A groundhog, super intelligent weather rodent!
Relinquish unto him your riches!
Yield to him your ability to think!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

And -
The SHADOW says:

Hey, I used to belong to Peter Pan
He even had me sewed back on his heels
But that didn't stop me for long --
And nowadays I'm attached
To a hog of the ground
Who sometimes pops up looking
For a breath of fresh air
Sniffing about for Spring's song --
That super intelligent weather rodent
Is now immortalized in Koye's verse
And I'm still attached
Waiting for my moment in the sun
Underground is dark and cool
But he let's me cast myself first
Only when the time is right -
Thanks, Semper Fi, for explaining
my plight, I'd love to be back with
Peter Pan
In flight!.

Great ode to the groundhog, the calendar, the season, and all that in acrostic form, I deeply bow to you in honor, Semp!.
Thanks for the great Q :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's a jolly good job I watched Groundhog Day otherwise I should be totally mystified!.
I think this is lovely, as it is totally off the wall - who else would choose this as the subject for a acrostic - well, February is when the little fellow has his outing - but nevertheless it wouldn't be the first thing to spring to mind!.!.!.!.!.!.unless, of course, you are a very sad person for whom this strange ceremony is the highlight of your year!.=)Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think you are laying it on a little thick about a fat pampered rat!. He forecasts 6 more weeks of winter or a month and half of winter!. I like the poem and your name!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
