Question: Granny & Elaine gave me the idea - An Old Poem - Comments!?
In the silent forest a scream is unheard
The blaring voice shouts to deafened ears untoward
Relentless cries beseech a plead for rescue
The forest floor consumes and sounds go mute

Nearby a clearing of wild flowers sway
God's beautiful creations quick to allay
Words of angst approach a receptive ear
Answers without boundaries gently appear

Alternative paths chance an upcoming trail
Guarded with thorned briers but roses prevail
Select this route is whispered and harmonized
Death and life argue til truth is realizedWww@QuestionHome@Com

This is beautiful!. I can see ruins and the path towards them, also a verdant field full of promise!. I am the person walking the path, and I choose the ruins!.!.!.only to sit and linger on the beauty of the field, which should be appreciated for itself and not for what can be made of it!. A deep, reflective poem!. I am in awe!. Thank you for this gem!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

A beautiful "green" poem!. It may be old, but the sentiment is newly being echoed by those of us who are making an effort to keep the Earth from being destroyed by its greatest predator--Homo Sapiens!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
