Question: A spider crawls up the well!?
A spider crawls up the well,
Slowly, climbing,
With every inch, an effort so unmistakeably pinched
Inch, by, inch
Step, by, step

Torn down in the dark, bottomless hole
Never to be known save for a single drop alone
That revived it from death

It gained the energy to climb up the stones
The grey stones
The cobbled grey stones
The weathered cobbled grey stones
Which smelled of loss

For many a time
When spiders just like that one tried to climb up to the sun

Never to be seen by the radiant sun

I really enjoy the topic but it loses my interest in the middle!. I love the imagery of the spider and the stones, that's almost enough to make the poem perfect!. The tiered description of the stones is perfectly done!.
The 3 lines bout the bottomless hole, disconnect me from the spider!. Overall, I love them both!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
