Question: Can poems be unanswered questions!?

“Some-
day you’ll
pay for this!.” But I haven’t met
those demons
yet
and I know now
that I will
not
and I remember
“You’ll get
yours
in the end!.” But I don’t dream
anymore
of endings and somedays!. I laugh
now, the recollection garden not quite
dead but dying by inches
every-
day!. If they knew
how much I know
I wonder, would
they knock me out
or make
me wait
for the crippled
suit!?
They haven’t introduced me
to the devils that dance
in their gardens and dine in the pantry
near the shadows but
I don’t want
to meet them, they are
old and sad and almost dead and hold a glow
no longer
but I wonder, would
they still have the strength
to fondle a child’s soul
to gain control
