Question: Shakespeare Sonnets!?!?!?
There is a sonnet by Shakespeare that I love but I know only the translated text in greek!. I would like the original but I don't know which one it is and it seems that the translation is a bit different and paraphrased!. In my own english words based on the greek translation the sonnet is

If you ever lay our eyes on my lyrics
don't remember the writer of them
I'd rather my be erased of your memory
than you remember me
and be hurt

If you have any idea which sonnet this could be you will make veeeery happy!
Thanks a lot in advance!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's Sonnet 71!. The lines you quote begin in the 5th line of the sonnet!.

No longer mourn for me when I am dead
Than you shall hear the surly sullen bell
Give warning to the world that I am fled
From this vile world with vilest worms to dwell:
Nay, if you read this line, remember not
The hand that writ it, for I love you so,
That I in your sweet thoughts would be forgot,
If thinking on me then should make you woe!.
O! if,--I say you look upon this verse,
When I perhaps compounded am with clay,
Do not so much as my poor name rehearse;
But let your love even with my life decay;
Lest the wise world should look into your moan,
And mock you with me after I am gone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sonnet LXXI (!?)

No longer mourn for me when I am dead
Than you shall hear the surly sullen bell
Give warning to the world that I am fled

The hand that writ it, for I love you so,
