Trading Places!.
What if we traded places
and I was the star
and you were the one
with the broken up rusted car!?!?
Would it change your point of view
Would it change what you do!?!?
What would you have to brag about then!?!?
What if we traded places
We would trade faces
I would hit the hollywood parties
You would be cursing, trying to fix that broken car
From afar you would gaze at me
like I gaze at you
If we traded places Iwould have all
the aces up my sleeve!.
Newspapers would take a picture of me
for all the world to see
Hey this is just me being me
But I'm not the star
like you are
I have the broken car
and I still look at you
