Have you ever seen the charts
For the Piccolo parts
Where the notes dance up the air

John Philip Sousa
Knew how to use ‘ya
In an octave reserved for the birds

Flitter and chirp
With barely room for eight fingers

Tones linger, sharp singer
“Hooray for the Red, White and Blue”
