are there excpections!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

No way!. Some the most profound poems of the ages (many of them Greek) had no title at all, and many were given titles after hundreds of years of not having one (so that it wouldn't become discarded in the library's of the middle ages and Victorian periods)!. Titles can be useful in that it gives readers a reference point and make it easier to draw comparisons to other works!. Don't feel limited by a title, or that you desperately have to have one, one may come to you years later!. Its all up to the author!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It isn't that exceptions are made it is just that some poems work better with out any title after all if the poem is strong enough it should be able to use its voice to convey the idea expressed!. Thank you for this question!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Thats to the discretion of the author!. If they choose to leave it untitled then no it does not have to have a title!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
