In daylight I drown, inspected by all!. I sit quietly waiting for night to fall!. My friends of the night stray into my mind I force them out for no one must find These creatures who stalk both predator and prey One by one, day by day At dusk they come lurking with glee Hoping for children in need of a scream!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: No, it does not mean that you are depressed!. I took a creative writing class in college, and found that everything I wrote was exceedingly dark!. I met with my professor to ask her about this, because I'd been writing that way for years (much to the alarm of my mother!)!. She told me something I'll never forget: Some people can write about sunshine and butterflies, and some can write about it very well!. Other people write best when they write about darker subjects!. If this is what you do well, DO IT!. Don't ever let anyone tell you that it means something is wrong with you!. Some people just express themselves better on the "darker side" of things!. I preference for darkness and the contemplation of the mortal life in poetry indicate a willingness to look existence square in the maw!. It's a creation of words and does not necessarily denote the mood or circumstances of the poet/writer!. I personally have a tendency to believe the opposite, the eternal effervescent types leave me suspicious!. It is a piece that refers to bad images that it may bring to ones mind while reading it!. 2!.
