As time flies
I wonder why
it won’t slow down
it just won’t quit
won’t let me breath
won’t let me rest
how do I stop my fears
from coming to past
how do I stop my tears
when I have nothing left
nothing left to hold onto
nothing left to grip
the ground here is shaking
molten and quaking
I feel my heart breaking
as I step to the edge
but my mind clings to sanity
and I take a step back
turn to the world
but I’m still not on track
cause Satan has my foot
he’s pulling me down
but god has my hand
leading me home
the devil is persistent
but god !.!.!.
God is my rock
my shelter
my happiness
time can't steel eternity
try as it might
god is forever
