Hmmmm, most of the time (when the kids are at bay) I can write pretty much anything but, then there are those times I could just wig out cause I'm just not feeling it you know!?

I usually like to answer in a poem, that actually gives me ne ideas LOL

It can come naturally, it can take forever!. One poem I recently published took me 2 and a half months to write!. However, I wrote the first three stanzas in 20 minutes and the last 2 in 2 and a half months!.

It also depends on how you wish to write!. Words in poetry are meant to express the feeling you can not explain easily!. Sometimes I will write somethings and then spend hours finding synonyms for every word!.

In conclusion, it will always take a lot of thinking!. Time is not relevant!. Sometimes you may write a masterpiece in 1 minute, but was it not the emotions and feelings that were overwhelming you for so long that you were forced to write and express it!?

Sometimes quality writing comes quickly!. Most of the time there is much thought!. I carry pen and paper almost everywhere to jot down ideas and words as they come!. Sometimes they even come while I sleep and I am faith full to write them down!. These notes thoughtfully combined and carefully worked and re-worked become poetry!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Sometimes I get inspiration, and then it just flows!.Usually I write in rhyming couplets!.
I put some words together and try to make them rhyme
It kinda gets my brain in gear, and doesn't take much time!.
When inspiration strikes me I'll write what I can find
In my imagination; What quickly comes to mind!.

The words just come to me!. Most usually when I'm busy doing something else and don't have a pen!. So i lose a lot of them, but I can't think a poem!. It, for me must come from the heart!. So, don't ask me to write on any certain subject because I can't do it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

writing is some thing that comes to you naturally, but it also is something you can improve on!. when i write it just flows but then i reread and fix it and take my time!. most of the time i don't change it but it's all natural!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

At times, both and neither!. I can usually just sit down and begin to write, POOF! Poetry, but at other times, when I commit myself to a structure or rhyme scheme, it takes a great deal of thought and effort!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
