Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Stay beautiful but don't stay down underground (metaphor) too long Dont turn into a mole (metaphor) or a worm (metaphor) or a root (metaphor) or a stone (metaphor) Come on out into the sunlight (more metaphor) Breathe in trees (what!? - metaphor) Knock out mountains (oh dear! metaphor and imagery) Commune with snakes (more metaphor and imagery) & be the very hero of birds (ie be something other than mole or worm) Don't forget to poke your head up (imagery extension of mole metaphor) & blink Think (aliteration - meter) Walk all around (More imagery) Swim upstream Dont forget to fly (again imprecise mataphor - anything other than mole or worm etc) As there is nothing describing inanimate objects or abstracts as people, unless you count the whole mole thing, which is the wrong way round, as it were - then I don't see any personification!. No comparison (as or like) so nothing which looks much like a simile, either!. There is plenty of metaphor -which is when a statement cannot be literally true (people don't turn into moles or worms etc)Www@QuestionHome@Com guess they doWww@QuestionHome@Com A simile has as or like in it!. example!.!.!. Your blank is as blank as a blank!. Metaphor Your blank is blank!. Its like a simile but you are saying that something is something!. Personification When you give an inanimate object a human feeling meter idk!? look it up imagery can you see what the author is trying to tell the reader!?Www@QuestionHome@Com |
