Question:The Great Flood
The rain sneaks in
On pitter-pattering little mouse feet
Then gains momentum
Until it becomes a charging bull,
Rampaging over the drought-stricken plains
Quenching the Earth's eternal thirst.

Oh and by the way this was for a school assignment and it wasn't free verse; it's the one where you have to make a force of nature into an animal. I'm not exactly a gifted poet so tell me all the flaws.

Really cool, this is really cool. I love the 'pitter-pattering little mouse feet' - if you are not a poet, then you ought to try being one. This is a very worthy effort.

.very good start why not add some wind hale and thunder n lightning and a mudslide or two.

I think you have the basic idea's just need to think them through A LITTLE MORE. I like the way the rain builds but I might make it longer and more tension filled. The second part has great promise.
