Question:Hey everyone, I am twelve years old and this is a poem I made up for an pro-life contest. I wrote it like 10 mins. before deadline. Feedback please?

The Biggest Decision
Should I get one?
Will I regret it when I’m done?
How will my parents react?
I don’t know and that’s a fact.

The doctors all seemed so nice,
Right before they told me the price.
Is this really the only way out?
What is all the hype about?

Is there any other option?
Should I just put it up for adoption?
Why do people think it’s wrong?
Would they want to carry a child that long?

If murder is a mortal sin,
I wouldn’t get to start over again.
They didn’t tell me any dangers,
But I learned about it from protesting strangers.

I know if I get one I can’t go back,
But then I can get my life back on track.
Will I be able to move on?
Long after the baby is gone?

How could I have even considered
Killing my child, it gives me shivers.
Life principles should bring us all unity,
For every person in our community.

I have decided on what to do,
This ordeal is over, it’s done, it’s through
I have decided to let my child to live.
I’m going to give it the best life I can give.

It's a really good poem, and written in 10 minutes is a great record too. You have a very good aabb rhyme scheme going, making a lot of sense as it progresses, so it doesnt sound forced (rhyming for the sake of rhyming - which is bad..).

Excellent!

wow!
