Question:Quit the rock concert in my heart,
Stop the riot in my brain,
Join the moment, create the silence
Turn off the dam inside my mind.
Without rushing it to further destination,
being the train to a tidy hault.
And echo the mountain's sounds quietly,
not reaching the ears of others.
The future brings what it will,
and will come when it does.
For the moment,
allow the leaf the sink in air,
the giant voices calm themselves,
the fortune teller frown as you lose interest.
Bring your sanity to truth.
Express the sunshine's love without calling for the rain.
Bathe in sand as water paints your toes invisibly.
And be patient.

There is so much lovely imagery in your poem and I love the meaningful message that it relates, to "for the moment allow the leaf to sink in the air.....and be patient." Just beautiful. Your words have both clarity and wonder. Thank you.

I agree with Amy G. Your imagery and use of metaphoric descriptions makes your piece a classic instantly. You are not only a poetess, but an artist!
