Question:Sadness Falls
Erin Marie Young and Language Arts Block 3
Pass the Poem

Worried she sits and wonders,
as she attempts to cover her fay eyes.
Is her life a lie?
Is any of the trouble worth it?
Will the confusion bring only misery?
Questions running through her head,
A stream of running abashment.
Tears, trickling softly down a forgotten face.
She sits and asks the questions,
Quietly she ponders.
Give me an answer.
I need it to move on.
Or I never will.
But, just then, the answer seems so clear.
I started to hope I didn't hear.
So I sit here in fear, so still.
I live in the slow lane, cautious, lame.
I jump out into the world,
And fall flat on my face,
Buried in bloodstained earth.
So I lay, wondering on the floor.
Sadness, brought on by one.
Worried, she sits and wonders.

Well I'm depressed now if that's what you were going for. But it's interesting how you ended the poem the way it was started. Like the speaker tried but failed and didn't really get anywhere. Also, I would try to stay in one perspective. You shifted to first person about half way through. Just a thought.
