i kneel before you
heart heavy with sorrow
forgive me my love

sorry for the eclipse
the darkness i put you through
take my light its yours

allow my words to spill
so perhaps this wound to heal
I am so sorry

For the pain you feel
I sorrowfully kneel, saying
"Will you forgive me?"

It was in error
That I put foot-into-mouth
I can't take that back

Look into my eyes
Know that I did not mean it
This I ask of you

It just popped out of my mouth.

Did I dent your car
When you broke my neck and spine?
Did I scratch the paint?

Haiku to the man with the black and blue foot.

Oh, I dropped that brick!
I am devastated now!
I'll go get some ice!

The wind blows through me
Your long, deep, hurt, hateful glance:
Transparent I am.

My mistake is vile.
I ask for apology:
Will you accept it?

My heart is frozen
Your apologies wither
And die on the vine

Oceans of sorrow
Flood all my waking moments
Will you forgive me?

You're sorry AGAIN!!?
