Some of the best poems are written when we are bored and lonely, written in the peace and solitude of loneliness. This poem expresses just that. Very well written. I really like it.

Sorry to disagree with Puppy Lover, but the over use of "nothing" becomes tedious and boring... sure, that is what you want me to see, but if I were not reading it for a critique, I wouldn't have read the entire poem.

Give me imagery -- show me, don't tell me -- of the nothingness in your world.
