Position:Home>Poetry> Another poem, it's short. Please read?

Question:Please tell me what you think of this poem! I don't have a title for this one yet, but I'm working on it.

Pure as rain, your love knows no evil,
You are the heart of all grace
And the source of the sun's rays.
With angels your soul sings,
A chorus in heaven, sweet in sound
And joyous in tune.
Through the clouds you soar,
Lifted on eagles’ wings,
A song on your lips.

The last line doesn't feel like the last last line... it seems to flow and then you just hit it... it feels like it needs more to the ending....

Very good, nice imagery but verging on trite.

I LOVED it!!! The lyrics are way deep! Oh! I read your name "A Catholic named Andy". That's cool, I'm a Catholic too! But my name is Hannah. Anyway, that poem was awesome! Keep writng!

its alright. not great though

I love it! I really like poetry that doesn't rhyme. It feels more... real. Most of the poetry posted here on Y!A is crap, but this poem is really nice. You convey the essence perfectly!

Title Possibility: Song. Sweet, short.
