Question:The couple took a road trip
They were not payng attention
As they enjoyed the sights
They went once in the wrong direction
Trying to find their way back
Without asking, they payed the price
Not only did they get lost once
They also went the wrong way twice
Eventually they found their way back
They indeed had to pay the cost
For two wrongs do not make a right
But they will surely leave you lost

In the sea, where all Sirens live
Directions are never very useful
Unless you're lost like Nemo

Very nice, with deeper meanings attached. Typo paid instead of payed. Too bad we do not have GPS for our souls at times.

Your directions are very clear (at least to me).

South, definitely, this one has gone south...TD

Nice poem

Reminded me of an old one of mine (non-rhyming)

Heading North

The Sudden Thought gazed around,
into unfamiliar territory,
and knew It was lost.
But having consulted another Idea
the Suggestion argued
that Logic should scamper up a power pole
to take a look.
Using all Available Information
(And it's handy pocket all-purpose guide map)
It re-convened the meeting with the rest,
but arbitrarily decided to agree with Instinct
and to forge ahead regardless.

Direction maintained,
through Mass Confusion and Doubt,
It rallied enough Common Sense
to observe the road rules.
And having come
to another Contentious Intersection
(In the middle of no-where),
It gave way to through traffic,
and to the right,
and finally found the on-ramp
that It knew would eventually lead north.
"I knew I was right" declared the Thought.

Sometimes It takes a little longer to get There,
but It does in the end.
