Can a novel be considered free verse poetry? No rules of rhyme or rythym....?

Question:Not that I know of. . . A novel can be loosely considered prose though (and yes, prose and poetry are two separate things).

I've never considered novels to be a form of poetry. A novel is just another way of expressing a thought or idea and putting it down for others to share. Authors have different writing styles of course, and that is simply a matter of taste.
