In my opinion it's poems like these that give teens a bad name. My son is a teenager and he doesn't feel this way. It's also poems like these that make teens depressed because they think that they should feel this way, they think they should be angry at the world, but for what? Having been a teenager once myself trust me poetry is not the cure, the very people that do understand are the people you think you need to rebel against - your parents, they were teens once too. What you need is to go and give your mom a really big hug! well expressed but wrong No one aspires to depression and perhaps angst should be fought not exploited. which is why parents do not want to give it any credence. , Parents understand, believe me they understand but their job is not to reward with attention or acknowledgement but to discourage by expressing emotions things more upbeat. . Poem is good one. Angst gotta hide at times. Life can be Good somtimes. Inspired by it. Not alone. So many ride the suicide yet others aren't so tall Some brave the inner thoughts of self yet others take a fall Teen angst it takes a toll on few but, with close friends about Teen angst should shutter, YES take cover cause we're gonna to wipe it out... |
