Question:You brought the wicked storm that tore the
Trees apart.
Do you enjoy the ghastly sight of the crooked limbs
Pointing to your Heaven?
Fingers, arthritic fingered limbs stretching upward
At You.
Evil they look, yet You do nothing to heal and bring
The beauty to us,
To Your people. Is it a matter of time for You
to restore nature
That was created by Heavenly powers?
Those huge bent and crooked fingers of the trees
Want to heal
As they stretch ever so tall towards you like devilish
Fingers wanting to strangle
Anything as they grow more crooked.
Are they dead? Will You restore life to them oh Lord
In Heaven?
In Spring will you restore the leaves to the trees stretching
Upward begging you for life with those mangled fingers.
I will wait for You with a rake in hand.

This is a powerful poem. Sometimes we do get mad at God for things that happen in our lives and in nature. Sometimes we wonder if the beauty of spring will return. Sometimes we also wonder if God is listening to us as we implore to him until our fingers become arthritic. This poem has magnificent imagery. As I read your poem, I realized that it could be transmogrified into a painting by Salvador Dali, for example.

I really love this but even more I take it to heart because I who has less than a green thumb, was compelled to dig up a dead tree practically by hand then the wind got the rest of it done for me and then I mulched the ground with its carcass and planted vegetables and a few unique flowers and they are growing in the harsh Las Vegas environment just like a dream! Also I recently heard the legend that suicides become trees for 10,000 years so I like to think I helped someone to move on.... I don't know if that is true but it is beautiful!
