Position:Home>Poetry> Will you please comment on these verses by Kipling?

Question:"If you can keep your head while all about you
are losing theirs and blaming it on you...

Is it because you do not understand the poetic process? Or is it because no one likes your poem?

Most on this site are polite by either not answering or giving a polite answer and moving on. I would suggest trying to read from the answers as to what people thought, especially ones that seem versed in the art of verse. Now, why didn't you like my poem? lol

It seems to capture some of the feelings I have about poetry... I know that, sometimes, I have a good poem and others say it's crap! but that may be their own perception. But other times there are people who say it is bad and I have to ponder the possibility of it... This is most likely only one grain of wisdom that can be drawn from this four-line part...
