Whats ur take on this poem of mine .?

As I stepped into the prisoner’s ward
Barely within a few yards, I saw
A young lass in action
I was transfixed in stupefaction
She must’ve been on the right side of thirty
Her uniform was tattered and filthy
Her hair were dirty and coarse
Her looks showed no signs of remorse
They said she’d killed her own husband
“He” testified the same at his moribund
She didn’t contradict, nor hired any lawyer
Since then she’s been an under trial
Being a government attorney, I was to fight her case
I gazed at her young,stout face
I wanted her perspective, her point of view
But as predicted, her words were a few
“My husband was a rapist, a vicious ruffian
I didn’t kill “him”, I killed his disdain
Men dominate coz women let them
But when they retaliate, its mayhem
It’s high time we look into this
Or the world is heading for another abyss”
She came, she spoke she conquered
My questions remained unanswered
