Very good; just a couple of suggestions In my dark stormy life You came and made it bright (or You came and shed light) You showed me what love was like Then the days passed away and time took my brightened day My heart now resembles broken glass this just goes to show some things don't last The pieces of my heart seem to be lost could they be found and at what's cost The cost is to dear because the memory of you is still neat So until that day I will suffer with shards of pain and wait until the day when glass can be repaired without fiery pain. I put that last part because glass can be melted down and reshaped but only by adding fire. |
