Gorja=Non Gypsy

The peace we so seek are not in vain worldly belongings,
But through that which is in our hearts comes such things.
From the beginning of time man has sought it here and there,
Having found many imitations all having turned to despair.
Those who profess love for their neighbour often choose
Their own kind, and in their undertaking will often loose
Much peace of mind, as those who have been so neglected
Do in sorrow walk the lonely rom being so sorely affected.

we strain with effort
to listen to know ,to question
is not that toil deflection ?
judgmental opinions
scrutinizing each
nil but one and the same
deletion of distraction
requires hushed thought
through quietude
emerges surety,openness __ purity

perhaps humanity has taken a wrong turn along the way ? the words "turn the other cheek " holds much wisdom un-spoken. when just one turns the other cheek many are effected.

this fear embedded in our minds ,since birth, might it be the root of conflict ?
nation against nation. one opposing another through political ,religious or philosophical ideologies .is not this separatism perhaps the cause or the root of fear and conflict.ambition in it's sour taste, brings anxiety in turn fear.
no doubt the mind is capable of the most wonderful things.the advancements in technology are apparent, but have we advanced in the compassion for the whole or just merely survive on self interest.
these words written are for all.the good as well as the bad and all in-between.
so have we advanced with all of our conflicting opinions and opposing ideologies ? this question is the answer within it's self.
it has been the same thing for hundreds upon hundreds of years and will no doubt continue as such.
to find security hope truth and peace for ALL of man-kind one must first be a light within ones self in-order for this light to shine for all.there will be no priest no politicion no guru no leader or no enlighten one that will solve the problems at hand.the first step is the largest and the hardest. it starts within ones self, and this sir is true compassiom and the most monumental challange man-kind has to face.

the leaves of passion
will never turn
when the compassion of truth
roots within a heart.

  • This is a beautiful poetic prayer. Probably all countries in all times have been guilty of turning part of its population into second or third class members. This is happening even as I write. It is unfortunate at best and tragic at worst. I do not think we will soon "march under the same flag," although I fervently wish that all people would understand that every one of us is a member of the Human Race and that none of us deserves to be denigrated for our beliefs or origins.

    Yes. Well spoken.
