Position:Home>Poetry> Do you like my poem, "Three Moons"?

Question:Would you choose Earth or Mars?

Three Moons

That night
out on the Bay
Luna's full face making a silver path
touching our gently rocking boat with light,
we laughed and drank our wine under starless skies.

This night
out in the desert
Phobus and Deimos making no paths
touching my reawakened heart with wonder,
I drink my wine under skies sparkling with a million stars.

Wow, the poem(s) are amazing.. breathtaking.
How old are you, did you write these by yourself?!

You must get your work published.

that is the most beautiful poem ive ever heard!!!!!!!!

its sooooooooooo awesome

i like that mars peom better. they are both really good.

Beautiful! Mars!

yes id choose mares

Very poetic, vaporous. I love it. I will have the Merlot.

Wow...you make it impossible to choose. I think I would choose Mars though because I'd love sip wine under a starry multi-mooned night. Beautiful poems.

Given the choice here: Mars.

Beautiful second stanza.

verrry good
i love the contrast. make no changes!
i would choose...Mars. what poet could resist? and i loove stars.

I`m about done with earth, ready for my next journey. So I`m
choosing Mars. I have been reading a lot about it recently. I
hear that a lot of people are going there. I have also heard
that a lot of poets live there. I`m ready.

I am drinking Bordeaux (Chateau Branda, Saint-Emilion 2003) while answering this question, and I definitely like your poem. It has nothing to do with the wine. Even completely sober, I would like it. I think I would love to be able to make journeys to Mars but come back to Earth as well.

Just beautiful - the imagery and meaning. The poetic structure is very interesting. I like it alot. I have learned something new from you. I've already chosen Mars :)

No! I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Beautiful-both of them. I like them both, hard to choose which one.

Both are great, can feel being there.

That settles it. Wine and the telescope night on our deck!
All welcome!

YES I like! It's beautiful. Love that wine; love them stars! :O))

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Elaine!

I loved this my friend *^_^*

I like them both, we can make love under our moon and when the dome is finished we can have twice the fun under 2 moons.

I'm no poet, but thanks to brilliant, beautiful Spyt and her sharing, I see potential you convey.

The Law of Abundance is in this poem and White Light.

Very hard to choose one over the other (planets and moons) when both offer White Light in Abundance.

Thank you for the edification and thoughts.

Chateau Margot, if you please.

Write on!

it's really nice Elaine.......enjoyed reading it....and like the reference to phobus and deimos! well imagined piece!

Now this is poetry, complete in every sense. Ten lines of pure magic.
