Yes and yes. I have 6 of her CD's. I saw her live once in Santa Rosa, in Sonoma County, California and heard her once on "A Prairie Home Companion".

She died years ago, but her spirit lives.

I've heard of her but I've never heard her music. Those lyrics are awesome!
