Question Home

Position:Home>Poetry> Do you consider yourself to be a hopeless romantic?

Question:I am hopeless; I am romantic, but not only in the ways of love. Everything about life (and I mean Nature) is romantic.
Appealing to the fancy and imagination -- is the definition, and everything does appeal to me.
Romantic and poetic are the same words.
Words are always getting lost in translation.
I am a romantic, and there is always hope.

Not anymore... Being a romantic is a wonderful thing when you have someone... but I have discovered something; poetry... makes almost anyone look like a hopeless romantic! But we can live with that!

Yes...there are never enough ways of which we can write of love.

yeah thats ALL my poems are about.... awesome.... i am such a hopeless romantic

I don't consider myself a "hopeless" romantic. I'm a hopeful romantic. My love life (or sometimes lack of) does inspire my writing. However, it isn't the only thing that does- I'll write about anything that makes me feel full of passion.

At my age, m'dear, practicality. Romantic...well, once! (G)
