Position:Home>Poetry> Dissatisfying town??

Question:I had this as the last line:

I could run for miles,
Yet still be chained
To this town that doesn't love me.

But, does this sound better??

I could run for miles,
Yet still be chained
To this dissatisfying town.

I Like this. I think the first way is best suited here for what you want to achieve. Well done.

Depends on what you are trying to conclude in your poem.
The first version sounds more intriguing by far and conclusive.

I like the first way best.
