Lamping in the cake district
Sitting cress-logged on the floor
Trying to find a parcark space
I wonder what my mouth is for?

These days it never seems to function
Quite how I would like it to.
Talking reams of garbage
Is all I seem to do.

I don’t know what the cure is.
Perhaps my brain’s on hold
Or perhaps it’s just because
I’m..... very....very.... old.

I like poetry, even though I'm not great at it. I like it, even though I'm not sure what it means. Sorry if I'm wrong, but is this a metaphor for something. Life? Happiness??

I like it. I think your poem is comical and it made me chuckle a little. I like the beginning part where you switch up letters, like in cress-logged... which is supposed to be cross-legged I guess. The poem's not perfect, but it's something to read that you don't get from a million other people who post their poems on Yahoo...

It's nice. I only have one problem with it, what is "parcark?" I've looked in the dictionary and it's not there. Did you mean some other word, perhaps "perfect?"
