Position:Home>Poetry> Mothers day poem help?

Question:so, i'm trying to write my mother a poem for mothers day. my poem is also going to go into our church bulletin, so i want it to be meaningful, and good.
i've only written one line:
"an angel was given to each child on earth."
and i want the second line to rhyme, so i was thinking maybe the word "birth"? but i don't know how to put it together.

..and the "angel" is supposed to a mother.
please help me write the second line.

An angel was given
To each child on earth;
She was yours forever
From the moment of birth.

To watch over and love you
Right from the start,
A mother's design was
To give from her heart,

All that you would need
To flourish and grow.
And in God's image
You would show

The truest value of a seed
Planted, in faith and hope.
Never knowing the full scope
Of her influence in the world,

God's own angel watched over you,
Her prayers always got your through
To be able to stand and simply say, "I
Hope you Have a Happy Mothers's Day."

Unquestioning love, unquestioning worth
Awarded to me, on the day of my birth.
