Martian Landing
by TD Euwaite

And the wind blows down
From the hollow treeless sandy
Swirling round and round
Outside where we have landed

As the red sun glows
The circuits overloading
The ship rocks back
And the wild wind blows

Now we’re here
Retro rocket landing
Red Planet drifting
And the solar system flows

Time to write
Months to sit and ponder
As the red dust gathers
On literary shelves

Messages
Sent back from where we came
Declaring truth
Through acidic pouring rain

Good morning from Mars.

For we have time
With our own kind
Sitting, thinking
Our thoughts sinking

Paper absorbs the ink
That tell the story of souls
For all to see
But only a few hear

The calls of those writers
Of poems and prose
And with understanding
They smile

Welcome to Mars!!!

Amen, brother, amen. Mondays are for Mars and some are from Mars. Write on, friend and mentor, write on.

*snap snap snap*

Raising my cup in a toast...indeed they do!
Good morning!

Monday is indeed for Mars. It sure isn't for me.

Another interesting one. This is the second one that I have read written about Mars. What's so poplar about Mars lately.

The poem is nice TD.......but the images you used are wonderful!
'The ship rocks back
And the wild wind blows' (love this one so much)

Greetings from Mars.........Good Morning
