Position:Home>Poetry> How do you feel about this poem, so far?

Question:Wandering around these brick city sidewalks,
I find that I am lost within you.
So many feet have traveled this same path,
I wonder if they heard your whispers too.

Every car passing, every stomp and shout,
Reveals the voice of this wisely aged town.
Turn off the busy street and forget your destination,
The melodies of her sounds will lead you around.

Lose yourself in the tender touch of the wind,
You may feel someone's dreams coming true.
Look down at that bench, notice it's worn paint,
Someone great may have sat there before you.

perhaps "everywhere i go i what i hear is new" which seems to fit with your descriptions of the city being filled with music, but it is very beautiful, and descriptive, you have a wonderful vision

I find that I am lost without you.
