Question:I strolled a long the river bank in shade of woodland trees
watching as the dragonfly’s darted in and out the reeds
Then I spied fisherman all white with webbed feet
Are a hungry Herron out for bite to eat

Than amongst the colours of every green you’ve ever seen
I came across a waterfall in the mid drift stream
Sunlight played in the waterfall a glory to behold
Shining in it’s crystals turning them to gold

Later I chanced upon a glade where I stop to have a rest
There I saw a sparrow collecting Foliage for it nest
It hoped n bobbed and skipped about as busy as could be
Though it is a simple thing a pleasure it was to see.

At first I herd there call then they caught eye
A group Wild geese were silhouette against the sky
They were flying against the backdrop of an amber sunset
which crowned the dusk of a day I’ll not soon forget .

How about Simple Pleasures? Excellant poem by the way.

This poem is very beautiful. May I suggest:

As I strolled

Along the Riverbank

What my eyes Did See

Meandering

days of sunlight or trees of sunlight , dusk of dawn

How about "Journey in Wonderment"? That seems to capture the essence of the poem, at least to me, why you wrote it and what you were experiencing. You know, there is somthing exquisitly beautiful about your poem. I think it is that you are discovering and marveling at the beauty of PRISTINE things (in nature), and that reflects on you, the writer. The fact that you appreciate these pristine tihngs so much and behold them in wonderment, is that you yourself are experiencing your pristine, untouched, inner spiritual heart and sharing it with the reader.

enchanting with nature

Colours of day

Sunset geese

Walking Along...

lovely poem by the way. ?
