Help on Free Verse Poem...please rate on scale of 1-10!!?

Question:Hey, I have to write a free verse poem for my language class. It has to be at least 20 lines and a simile, personification, etc... would help too. Any corrections or improvements also plz.

I'm only 14 years old boy so please don't be too harsh :)

“Time Flies”

As I am walking to school,
I wonder what seventh grade will be like.
I sit through the first day bored out of my mind.
All we did was sit and talk.
I hope the second day goes by faster.
My second day of school went by so slow.
It seemed like the day would never end.
Each minute went by like an hour.
I assume the rest of the year doesn’t go like this.
I can’t wait for summer.
How can people say that times flies?

As I am walking to school,
I wonder what my last day of school will be like.
And remembering all the good times of seventh grade.
I can remember that very first day
And how slow it went.
Now that it’s over,
I kind of wish I could go back to that very first day.
Because now I really do realize,
Time does fly.

8/10, the second verse is particularly good!

Maybe change line 8 to

"Each minute like an hour, each hour like a day."

I'd give it a pi/ 10.
