Does anyone know the author and the rest of this cassowary poem?

Question:The bit I know -
Should a cassowary curtsey to a camel? Should a porpoise say good morning to a shark? Should a salamander bow to a solitary cow if he meets he in the village after dark?
It's probably British & I first heard it in the 1950s.
