Position:Home>Poetry> Are you afraid the moon may go out?

Question:Stolen Husbandry
The most wonderful man; my master.
My most beautiful friend.
The most charismatic heart I've ever met!
I've fallen in love; Love in its' purest form.
How adoration has taken me on such sweet voyage!
Should our quiet silence break, it is colored with his pleasant words.
The perfumed scent of his sigh fills the air with fragrance.
When he rises, the sun can't help but awaken, and shine.
When he steps, the surf rushes in to chance a touch at his ankles.
He lays down on my pillow, and kisses me with blooming flowers.
So far away; I often feel my souls yearning breath
of love, and lust, and longing.
His passions have reached a place in me
Leaving me wanting, wishing, hoping for some miracle?
A romance beautiful because he is!
Yet we sit in our own secret lives; desolate and unowned by any.
Step out into the night. Look up!
The moons soft glow exists as long as we are looking back at one another.
If master or his angel dies, I fear its' light will cease

Beautiful.
Not too keen on the end though.
if you're too busy looking at eachother than how do you know the moon is shining to begin with?
and...you're apparantly looking up...and at eachother.
you could probably do without the last four lines altogether.
also, you don't need the exclamation marks.

"If your writing doesn't have impact of its own you shouldn't bother writing it, don't steal effect from the exclamation mark." as an english teacher once told me.

The moon doens't shine it reflects light.
You better be worried about the sun going out.

The night is a good time to sleep.

i dont get the question :S

wow! I can't believe you asked this questioin..Yes I stay awake evey night, wondering if the moon will go out...I wake up every few minutes and think, has the moon gone out. Then, I wake up and think, has the sun gone out........LOL
